The history of Audi is one of the most multi-faceted stories ever told of the automobile. The distinctive Audi emblem identifies one of Germany’s oldest-established automobile manufacturers. It symbolizes the amalgamation in 1932 of four previously independent motor-vehicle manufacturers: Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer. These companies form the roots of what is today AUDI AG.

Audi of America Inc. and its 270 dealers offer a full line of German-engineered luxury vehicles -- 23 in total, with 12 models introduced in 2008 and 2009 model years.
