Welcome to Atlanta Judo Midtown, a conveniently located dojo dedicated to enhancing judo skills for beginners, those who have been involved in judo for a short period of time, and for Masters. Our technically-oriented classes offer 1:1 instruction by Sensei Dennis Scheib - Shichidan, the only US Masters player in America to hold 10 contested World medals, including 7 gold World Championships; Sensei Matthew Scheib – Nidan, and Sensei Willard Jule – Sandan. Visiting instructors include Sensei Gary Berliner – Shichidan, and Sensei Gregory Gotlin – Yodan, among others.

In addition to judo, we offer classes in HaganaH, the Fierce Israeli Guerila Hand to Hand Tactics (F.I.G.H.T.), judo for grapplers focusing on takedown techniques, law enforcement training, children's judo and body sculpting.

Atlanta Judo Midtown has become the home for international judo in Atlanta, with instructors and competitors from Korea, Cuba, Romania, Germany, Africa, France, Brazil and Italy among others. Over 16 nationalities are represented, and each judoka shares techniques from their international training.

Our spacious, open facility features spring-loaded mats for safety and member judoka are seasoned, experienced, and passionate about sports. Whether you want to stay physically active, get into shape, or train for competitive tournaments, Atlanta Judo Midtown has it all. Workouts are designed to maximize individual performance and needs, and to enhance Masters training.
