Update (2010/June/09): My cam has a hardware problem :( the zoom spring seems to be broken. when i zoom in/out the zoom wheel stays in the same location, that is it keeps zooming in/out without retaining its rest position again. I sent it to Canon & they said it will cost me $150 to fix it. I think I will experiment with fixing it myself (like i did with my laptop) in a couple of weeks. Until then, it seems i cant take any pictures :(

Update (2010/june/22): Just received my cam from Canon. They offered me a reduced price to fix it for me & it seems to work :D

Update (2011-09-04): The same issue as that of Update 2010/June/09 happened :( I will contact the company again to fix it.
