Facebook Note: My Facebook URL (which is supposed to be unchangeable, recently changed on its own to tracy.blu. Thus, my facebook link is now www.facebook.com/tracy.blu. (Tracy Blu happens to be my best friend. We share computers most of the time and we were baffled when one morning, our profiles had transferred some of our information to each others pages. Her page was displaying all of her friends, but her name was my name; and when I logged in, my facebook displayed all of my friends, but my name was showing Tracy BIu, as well as my URL. Her profile worked itself out that day and changed back to normal on its own, but mine did not so I had to go in and manually change my name back to MY name. However, URL's are supposed to be permanent so I cannot go in and change that back to me. I am VERY annoyed by this and have contacted facebook several times to no avail. My business cards are now junk... Moreover, I am very concerned that facebook isn't secure enough that something like this could happen. I am now stuck with a URL that doesn't represent me and it seems that now another Nicole Wamsley in this world has claimed nicole.wamsley. I have written FB so many times requesting a new URL that has something to do with me, but haven't heard one word from anyone!!!
Anyways, I was nicole.wamsley, but am now apparently tracy.blu.
I didn't want to have to make a new FB page, but that might be happening in the near future.
