My interest in nature and wildlife began while fishing as a kid. I still love the outdoors and viewing wildlife. I will photograph any wildlife subject I can get close enough to which where I live mainly means birds and insects.

    "Allen and I both share a love of nature and of capturing whatever we find on our adventures. We enjoy the same critters and I believe have the same eye for a good nature shot. But Allen is a much better photographer than I am!! He is the Master of hummingbird shots, whether hovering or perched - take a look at his collection of superb photos. And view them "Large" to see the detail and color in those tiny feathers! And don't miss his amazing Prothonotary Warblers ... he tracked down their cavity nest in the woods. His photos of the gorgeous yellow male bringing bugs to the nest are awesome and not to be missed. I could go on and on ... his in-flight dragonfly shots are a rarity - for good reason!

    He's an avid fisherman ... so as long as he keeps a camera along at least some of the time - we'll keep enjoying his photos!

    Allen has been a terrific flickr friend from the start. I feel that he's a "real world" friend as well even though we've never met. He and I continue our adventures to see what we will find around the next bend.
