I've been shooting for almost four years now, starting out on a janky old pentax film body and immersing myself in the wonders of the darkroom. I shoot digital almost exclusively now, although I do occasionally pine for the acrid scent of developer baths and stopgap.

I'm lucky enough to live in San Francisco, where I try to take advantage of the incredible natural landscape and the famous landmarks (and in a less photographic vein, the food. Oh my god the food). I'm headed off to Chicago in the fall to be a freshman at Northwestern, so expect to see lots of new content.

Flickr related stuff: At the moment I only add people I know and have done some photography with as contacts, although I'm reconsidering that. Feel free to add me though, it's always nice to know my work is appreciated!
Also, I'll freely accept group invitations but I delete the meaningless award gifs so many groups love to award, I'd much rather save the comment space for the wonderful people who take the time to write a real comment.
