I spent most of college as an editor of www.amherstwire.com, and strarted up this photoblog on the site: www.amherstwire.com/lens. After graduation I worked as a writer and photographer for "Cape Cod Life", a nationwide travel and lifestyle magazine known for their photography. Now I am teaching English in northern Italy for a few months, I'm always on the go.

I love travel writing and photography, and am a photojournalist as it combines my love for both photo and writing. I feel like the two fields go hand in hand, and I can't choose one over the other because to me photography involves writing as well. I personally cannot have one without the other.

I also dance (modern, ballet, tap, some traditional african, hip hop), I like to photograph and be photographed when it comes to dance.

When I'm not taking pictures or doing any of the aforementioned activities, I can be found changing my hair style, swooning over cats, going to punk shows, or sewing.

I try never to use flash even though I have a nice one, but that's probably going to have to change.
