Asem Abdel Fattah was born in Cairo city, Egypt in 1956 and started practicing art in his earlier childhood that he spent in an ancient historical Cairo town known for its beautiful buildings. In 1993 he accomplished his P.H.D degree in Painting-Fine Art in Helwan university. and working as a Professor in the Painting Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Egypt.



He has been sharing the movement of the art since 1979 and he got many prizes and esteem certificates. Some of his paintings are hanging in the Museum of Modern Art in Cairo. He has private collections in several countries like Canada, USA, UK, Germany and Holland..



He works in painting, watercolor digital art and mixed media, using a wide range of experimental techniques to achieve luminous layers of richly textured color and tone. and show great vitality in his use of vibrant color and spontaneous expression.
