The Grande Prairie Regional College in partnership with the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation will provide emerging and elite athletes from North West Alberta programs and services to take them to the next level in their sport.
The Alberta Sport Development Center will be located on the campus of the Grande Prairie Regional College. Through their partnership, the College has kindly donated office space, office furniture, office equipment, and office setup requirements for the operations of the Center. The Center is a regional training center that offers programs and services to emerging and elite athletes and coaches throughout the northwest region of Alberta. The Center operates with an Advisory Board that represents many different aspects of the sports needs of this region.
