Hi.

My name is Aviva, yes, it's a palindrome, I'm nineteen years old and once upon a time I thought I was a photographer. Now I'm not so sure, but I do take well to being photographed by my good friend Michelle, so now we're this team and we like to call ourselves AMAMAK.

We (when I say we I mean Michelle mostly 'cause she presses the shutter - Aviva is more concerned with fussing over scans, processing, watermarking, resizing, and generally having a fit over managing our mini-internet empire) aren't really too concerned with having the best equipment or studio. We prefer film to digital, but we haven't counted the latter out yet completely.

Instax Wide 210 + Mini
Using mostly Kodak Portra 400VC, Fuji Velvia 100, Ilford Delta FP4 Plus, Fuji FP-100B or C, Impossible Project and Polaroid 600 film.

Aviva, occasionally, shoots with:
Canon Rebel Xsi
Nikon F-something (it's a mystery)
Polaroid SX-70

We're self-taught photography babies. We don't take ourselves too seriously and neither should you, (Unless you want to!) but we like to think we're pretty good at what we do. We also love talking to you, so if you've got any questions, suggestions, glowing compliments or angry hatemail (though hopefully not that last one), don't hesitate to send us a message.
