I work in the field of microscopy and scientific imaging at the University of Minnesota.

I like film.

I like digital.

I'm inspired by the works of Andreas Feininger.

For fun, I like to take long strolls in the invisible spectrum. I use a Wratten 87C filter for all of my infrared photos.

My monitor is hardware-calibrated to gamma 2.2. Is yours? You should be able to see all the gradations here, with no color cast. Don't worry too much if the first or last three are hard to discern.
