Thank you for visiting my sweet little corner of the world ;-)

I left my job five years ago to become a pastry chef. I went to pastry school and loved every minute of it. After graduating, I started working at a local bakery where I made Old World European cakes and pastries.

Right now, I'm enjoying being a stay-at-home mom but I still make desserts for friends and family. My son was diagnosed with multiple food allergies so now I'm learning how to make allergen-friendly desserts as well.

I'm interested in learning more about cake decorating. I love the creative freedom it gives me: I get to draw, paint and sculpt edible works of art. It's really fun...and delicious too!

I'm a self-proclaimed Francophile and making French desserts is my way of reminding myself that "I'll always have Paris."

I'm just learning how to use my camera, a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi. My husband taught me a couple of things but that's pretty much it.

I'm so amazed and inspired by all the talented people here at flickr. I love looking at your photostreams and exchanging ideas with all of you.
