Hey, I am Jen Tucker aka Sisterinarms. I am both artistic & autistic. I have what is called Asperger's. I have been an artist from birth. My mother says I was drawing at the age of one. I believe that art, music, poetry is all around us all the time. It is like an unseen force that if one is open enough, can flow right through. You can't be distracted or stressed out or unable to quiet your mind and have it come to you. You have to be able to find that place or state of mind that it enters or connects with you. Sometimes it's easy, other times it seems nearly impossible to make the chaos of society stop enough to see it clearly. I am one who has learned to catch it and only manage to catch a handful of what flows through me or above me or around me. My job is then to put it on canvas or sculpt it out of clay. I don't pretend to know why or what it means. I leave that to those who have made a choice to be the interpreters of such things. I enjoy any constructive comments on my photos & work.
