My goal this year is to put away my DSLR and PEN cameras and use only point and shoot cameras and see how good an image I can capture.

I found that shooting with my point and shoot really makes me step back and think about my composition. I can't always just step down the aperture and blur the background! :-) I found that I am enjoying photography a bit more with this challenge.
