I’m a working mother of 2, and an artist of multiple media and disciplines.

Or as my loving husband would say, a crazy woman with a 2 week attention span.

Ok, I admit I usually find myself hardly finished one kind of project before I’ve already found something else entirely different that I want to create.

Behind every closet and cupboard door lurk crafting supplies of all kinds from my photography gear, tile mosaic paraphernalia, baby quilt fabrics, herds of knitting needles and digital scrapbook layouts - although the list doesn’t end here.

Some helpful Info for swap partners:

I'm a bit unpredictable when it comes to what I'm going to make each time. I love to try new techniques and styles and will sometimes even design an original pattern. Hopefully you're ok with being really flexible and love to be surprised. Don't worry, I do stalk your favorites.

The only thing I'm really looking for in a quilted or sewn swap is something well made that won’t fray away or come apart in the wash. I tend to put a lot of effort and care into my swap items and extras and would really love to have a nice positive experience!

I'm not particularly fond of strict traditional, country cottage, and muddy yellowy/brownish colors.

Otherwise, I'm pretty open and easy going about colors and prints. I love Heather Ross and other similar folksy, romantic, vintage style fabrics. Anna marie Horner and similar bright cheerful fabrics, and most of the other new modern fabric designers. I even like batiks so long as there’s no brown muddy colors. I hold a special place for anything especially witty or funny :)

Forest themes, wonky, abstract, gees bend, modern, free pieced letters, houses etc. I love embroidery and hand quilting – yum! I’m open to just about every style of appliqué just as long as it’s well tacked down. Scribble quilted details are fun too. My favorites are pretty telling of my preferences.

If you're the type that needs to co-ordinate with home decor:
My sewing studio upstairs is decorated in blues, greens white, grey and the occasional shot of red, orange and yellow. My dining/living room is neutrals, wood, blue/green sea glass and beachy accessories. My Kitchen is country with white, blue, red, yellow/green, and wood.
