I am a furnituremaker. I create furniture that reflects my love of the art and craft of woodworking. Each piece is shaped and joined entirely by hand, and is finished to enhance the natural beauty of the wood.

After years of building scenery at theatres around the country, I turned my talents to furniture. I found, however, that using power tools made me feel like a machine operator instead of an artist. I made the decision to trust time-honored techniques and use only hand-tools. This allows me an even greater connection to my work, without sacrificing quality.

I live in the District of Columbia. I'm proud to have been a resident of our Nation's Capital for over ten years. I lived for many years on Capitol Hill, and now I live and work in a neighborhood in NE Washington called Woodridge.

If you see me at a show or festival stop by and say, "hello!" If I'm not at the booth, then you'll probably meet my wife, Carly, who is usually with me. You won't be able to meet the other two residents of my house -- my two rabbits Dora and Derby.
