  "I had the pleasure of meeting Art this summer in Greenwich Village. We sat in a sidewalk cafe where he spoke about his photography and some good books he recommended about life. Art is a gentle soul and has a sharp intelligence clothed in humility. While we sat there drinking our espresso, he took a photo of a woman sitting at the table behind ours. The shot was perfect and I marvelled at how easily he captured a certain expression that was fleeting and almost imperceptable. He sees things that many others do not see. He is a true photographer among other things artistic."
