The United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro (UAC), in collaboration with top artists, presenters, producing organizations, museums and venues, is pleased to announce a unique Greensboro festival – 17 Days – which will launch on September 22 and run through October 8, 2011.
17 Days, organized as ArtBeat Greensboro, began as a springtime city-wide arts festival to showcase and recognize Greensboro’s excellent arts and cultural assets – from theatre, music and dance to the visual arts. Under the new leadership of the UAC, ArtBeat Greensboro will become 17 Days, to build excitement for the new expanded dates and schedule.
