I work with online communities, research and technology.

I've only been taking photographs for a decade or so - before that I used to maintain that it was more important to appreciate the experience of the 'here and now' and that photography detracted from it, but then I started travelling and wanted to hold on to the memories. That was when I discovered the results often created something quite different from the memories anyway, but I was hooked.

I'm also interested in digital film making and playing acoustic music, and currently looking for the best broadband deals to switch to.
