Hello world! Thanks for stopping on by.

I took an interest in photography when my grade 9 art teacher told me the highschool I was going to attend next year had a really good darkroom program, and that he thought I should participate. Having never been in a darkroom before, (and on a humorous note... I'm terrified of the dark and always have been) I decided to just take his word on it, and I've been hooked ever since!

I still have the Olympus OM-1 and OM-2 cameras that I learned to shoot on, which I love. However, I prefer to shoot digital (gasp! I know that isn't a cool thing to say... you'll get over it, I promise?) because I'm spoiled by the technological advances. I like to return to film now and then, however, because I find that forcing yourself to work within a certain set of constraints can really help to get those creative juices flowing.
