Nice of you to drop by.
As my pictures can tell you, I am an absolute amateur. Been shooting with a film point and shoot for 3 years and then with a digital point and shoot for a year. In Jan 2009, I got my first DSLR: Canon 450D. I have the standard IS18-55mm kit lens and a 100-300 mm USM lens.

I am not really a photographer. I backpack a lot, exploring historical monuments. It was here that I stumbled upon the hobby of photography. I make most of my travels alone since not many people are keen to share my Spartan way of travel or interested in the subject. I have been fortunate to travel the length and breadth of India and all of it on shoestring budgets.

When I am not travelling or shooting, I am a corporate slave working at a cube farm. The only way I overcome the ennui of work is by daydreaming about the places I want to visit :))))

At the moment I am working at Pune, India. It's a wonderful base to explore the mountains and plateaus that surround the city. I have spent several weekends shredding my poor bike's tires on lonely dirt tracks and taken quite a few falls already.

I find flickr a wonderful platform to research for my next trip and to learn how to use a camera. I have learned so much about the wonderful places in the world and seen quite a few jaw dropping shots.
