Arif Cagatay DEVECI is a multi-disciplinary designer with a BFA degree in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from the University of Bilkent and a MFA Degree in Production Design from the American Film Institute in LA.
Following graduation he worked with the internationally recognized hospitality design firm Chada Remedios Siembieda in Los Angeles, on high profile projects in Asia, for brands such as Hyatt International, W, Xintiandi and Shilla. Cagatay also has significant experience in design and development with the well known firm Cheryl Rowley Design in Los Angeles, for projects in the US, Dubai, St. Petersburg and Costa Rica involving brands such as Burj Dubai, Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Hilton. His most significant achievement at CRD was the compilation of the %100 Interior Design Package for Burj Dubai – Luxury Penthouse project.
He recently started his own practice, kibrID design consultancy in the city of Istanbul and currently contributing his expertise on the SLS-SAHARA project in Las Vegas, designed and conceptualized by Philippe Starck, for the SBE design team.
