The American Red Cross of the National Capital Area, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people in our community prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters and other life-threatening emergencies.

The National Capital Area (NCA) Chapter provides disaster relief and education and training within the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church; counties of Fairfax, Montgomery and Prince George's; and the District of Columbia.

The NCA Chapter is also the Regional Headquarters through a partnership with the Alexandria, Arlington County, Loudoun County and the Prince William Chapters.
