Kay-Christian Heine, born in 1966, freelance photographer, photojournalist and jurist.

As a freelance photojournalist I work for newspapers and magazines on a regular basis and occasionally on travel and cultural topics. The range of my photographic work mainly covers documentary and photojournalism.

Social issues are a fairly important aspect of my work. There have been various exhibitions and my pictures have been published in newspapers, special interest magazines and in clerical publications.

I'm a member of the partnership committee „One World – Loitokitok“ of the parish Thomaskirche Elmshorn in Germany. During a partnership visit to Loitokitok I tried to capture with my camera what life is about in this Kenyan parish. The set Living with HIV/Aids in Kenya shows a part of this work.
