Timequest was set up in 2010 to offer a variety of media services including consultancy, historical research, photography and design solutions.

As a photographer I have been active since October 2004 and these days would never go out without the camera. Although I really enjoy viewing other people's work I have always followed my own creative path and vision and any similarities in style or work produced is purely coincidental.

I stepped away from the commerical/personal or 'people' aspect of photography (apart from music) in early 2011 to focus on a more abstract and experimental output which has allowed far greater creative possibilities. I realise I'm far too experimental these days to follow a conventional commercial path and would rather follow my passion over a necessity to make millions and stay in line with any kind of trend.

In 2006 I was introduced to photoshop but I still prefer to rely on photography as the main source of art as much as possible. I always state otherwise on images if PS has been used to reshape or recompose a particular piece.

2007 I began designing album covers using natural elements and secured my first contract with Canadian band Dream Aria for their album Transcend. I worked with them again in December 2011 for Fallen Angel, this time providing the full design package including typesetting. I am always looking to work with bands and will consider doing so on an art for art basis, but only with those who are artistically inclined.

I believe in remaining strictly to an unofficially trained path and following my own creative path through experience. This has lead to working in virtually all aspects of photography professionally over the years including weddings, parties, live events, model shoots etc.

I view photography and art as an expression of oneself through visual form and to have someone teach you how to 'compose' is to lose that identity.

I have offered plenty images for free over the years, for inclusion on various websites and publications but nowadays all images are available for sale only in a variety of formats.

At Flickr I always upload thumbnails but all original image prints or files are available for purchase directly from me.
