I take great joy in photography – in capturing a moment in time which may not come again; to see, amongst the whole, some tiny outstanding detail.

I find, as I tread the same remorseless path every day, that I lose the habit of really looking around me. I must consiously remind myself that each day, each step is not the same as the last. And so I carry my camera with me, to catch those differing instants of experience.
