"Patrick, I have such a fondness for your stream; I could comment on every picture. I am consistently moved by your images and their accompanying words, and the soul that is expressed through them. You are a beautiful person and I am fortunate to have these pieces of you in my life to remind me of my own heart when I forget it."

"Thank you for sharing your most private thoughts to us through your beautiful photos. There are so many people out there doing self portraits and alot of times, it's about vanity and none so far came anywhere near you...you went above and beyond that and bare your soul to us. I am so glad to have you as a friend and as a contact...your photos display a quiet soul that can speak volumes when it comes to displaying your emotions...I want to wish you continue success with your work and as always, I look forward to see more your work! Thank you for being an inspiration Patrick!""

"There are a few streams on flickr that I love visiting and can't wait to see more images from.. Patrick's being one of the top ones. What emanates from his work is a sense of goodness, humanity, spirituality, and hints of mysticism. Whenever I see his work I think of Latin American authors such as the likes of Gabriel García Marquez, who present you with a story and casually drop magical elements through it as if they were part of our reality. You will find warmth, humor, brilliant colors and great compositions here.. visual poetry, and nothing less."

"Patrick's stream has been one of my favorites to visit over the past year. His work is always unique and stands out from the rest because of his dramatic use of light. What I love about his photos is that they often have a dreamy and nostalgic quality. He is not afraid to experiment and laugh at himself. :) He is a kind, funny person who also happens to make beautiful art. Patrick's stream is like none other. He captures feelings."

    "Patrick.
Somewhow I think of pirates; perhaps its his amazing self portraits as a pirate really jumped off the screen.
His control of light and tones is amazing, each and every photo like a perfectly thought out glimpse of his life.
A photostream I always look forward to visiting, to be amazed, to sigh and to smile. Patrick's work is worth each and every second."

"Patrick's photos have a certain luminous quality to them - they are sometimes dark, sometimes mystical, and sometimes both. They are always beautiful."

    Baby Dove says:

"Patrick's photos have a depth that goes well beyond the ordinary. In one seemingly simple image, he can capture the essence of an epic. They contain a richness, warmth, and often a levity that are a testament to his strength and character. His images bring you to another world, or allow you to see this world through new eyes. That is the mark of a true artist."

"Patrick knows how to use light to tell a story in his photographs. He uses it much like an author of a novel uses words that appeal to our senses. And his stories are wonderfully deep, sometimes funny, sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes creating a small ripple of sadness within us. Sometimes his stories are explicitly told within the boundaries of the photograph, and sometimes they entice our imaginations to fill in the blanks.

Patrick is definitely one great storyteller and photographer, combining the two crafts seamlessly."

"I love Patrick's photos. It's so easy to get wrapped up into making your photography "perfect" and forgetting to have a good time, laugh at yourself, dress up like a pirate, capture something random, or take a picture of a green bucket. His landscapes are beautiful and peaceful, and I adore his La Jolla shots. He brings a lot of magic to my contact list, and I look forward to what he will continue to share with us."

"Patrick's photos have that rare subtlety and strength that comes from someone who lives with his eyes - and heart - wide open.

Though he's not above smacking you in the funnybone when you least expect it."

"I had the pleasure of bumping into Aradan, aka Patrick on this site, I didnt really have any buddies here to check out my photos, and I always had a nice surprise when this kind person left me comments!
Aradans photos are dark, uplifting, hopeful, and delicate.. the thing I most admire about his photos would be the lighting, I still cant quite get lighting spot on like that, and he uses natural light as if he had controlled it absolutely to achieve a great result!
The next thing I admire about his photos is that he has his own style, and its very strong, I really like that you can look at a photo and think, yeah, thats totally Aradans style.. Its much harder to put words to what that style actually is, so you just have to check out his photos to see what I mean!!"
