For more than twenty years, the street of New York, particularly the East Village, have provided my subject matter. From the ever-changing scenes of gentrify neighborhoods to the tragedy of 9/11, the city have provided me with a wealth of images.

Inaddition to capturing street scenes and events, I have also captured the daily lives of people around the city.

My preference is to shoot in black and white which I believe is still the purest form of photography.
