Aphrodite Ioannou's photostream

Aphrodite Ioannou was brought into this fascinating world during the summer of 1978 through an interracial chromosome exchange from Greece, England and Smyrni.

Her love for art and anything creative urges her to seek artistic expression in various forms.
Free hand pencil drawing, design / illustration and digital photography are the main fields of her interest and therefore, she tries to spend as much time as possible in both evolving and experimenting with new techniques. She has attended seminars for Photoshop and Illustrator but she is mainly self taught.

She is inspired by everyday life, interesting and creative people and music. She is particularly interested in depicting emotions in her portraits.

Aphrodite has been creating Digital Portraits and digital illustrations since 2006 and many of her pieces have found their into private collections both in Greece and abroad.

Participated in numerous group exhibitions and her work has been featured in various mags, art books, blogs etc.

Her most recent project is entitled Eye Candies:
"Searching, discovering and selecting eye candies in the field of art, craft and photography is the main target of this blog! Launching during mid December 09 my prime aime is to keep you amazed with waves of creativity and visual treasures."
