    das-odg (is leaving flickr) says:

"If there is still anyone anywhere out there to believe that greyish walls, old trashbins, f***ed up fences and handrails do not ROCK, check out Axel's pics and you'll have your mind changed in an instant. He has a unique gift to spot the beauty in everyday objects and arrangements in public space. It's a great consolation to know that even those cities we usually would perceive as ugly and bleak are real crown jewels - if you just look at them with Axel's eyes. Thank you for this."

"I haven´t been very active myself yet but have watched Axel and his work here from day one and from a different, personal angle .
He puts so much love, passion, effort and time in his pictures and has developed his own unique style over the last year.
He made many friends in this community and I think he definetely is an enrichment to Flickr."

    Nico van Vliet says:

"When I started with Flickr about a half a year ago, it didn't take much time before I saw the first images of anyone_anywhere: the 'urban nature' series.
I was addicted to them from the first moment on.
These warm, somehow sombre, colors, this cleanness, the balanced compositions... They all have a strong personal style, they are always so much more than just 'taking a picture' .
He strongly influenced my way of seeing and my way of creating images.
Everyday one of the first things I do, is visiting his stream (we both get up early, I think) and almost always he surprises me with another wonderful image.
Apart from that, he also runs a couple of very interesting groups!"

    Nils Windisch says:

"this guy is amazing. he uploaded a wonderful collection of photos within only about seven months and he keeps them coming; one urban shot after another. it is just inspiring to follow his stream and i like the fact, that he shows us up-to-date photos - it makes you want to see them when seasons change.

i like his approach on composition and arrangement of lines, colours and subjects a lot. the obvious thing would be to go for tags like "urban" or "decay", but there are stunning "black&white" images too, don't miss them!
go for the "urban black & white" set and maximize enjoyment ... one of my fav flickr sets.

axel, thank you for sharing your urban views."
