Anunaya Chaubey teaches English Literature in Patna University. He has been painting ever since he can remember. He has learnt painting on his own .He has also had a few quiet exhibitions of his paintings in India and Canada. Many paintings of his are to be found in private and public collections all the world over.
He has always enjoyed music, reading, walking and writing. They all consummate in his paintings.
Currently he is serving the College of Arts & Crafts, Patna University, as its Principal.
For his Doctoral thesis he worked on Ezra Pound’s critical theories and practice.
‘The natural object is always the adequate symbol,’ is one of his favourite Poundean precepts.
