Hello my name is Ian.

I love photography and it's a serious passion of mine ,my wife is a wedding photographer ,I help where needed ,hence we have quite a bit of kit between us .

My main area of photogaphy and love is the outdoors ,finding new locations and using the right light if i can which isn't easy.

My main walk about lens is a tokina 28/80mm f2.8 with D200 or D300s.
Nikon 50mm F1.8 general and film.
Wide angle 11/16mm tokina also works on F100 at 16mm.
Wildlife nature and portrait Nikon 80/200mm F2.8 ed with teleconveter.
Macro 105mm Nikon f2.8 with extension tubes.
Telescope with adapters for slr cameras.
Other gear .............Filters ,tripods, and remotes ,not forgetting flashes triggers ,flash leads ,backdrops and reflectors.

FLASH.
Nikon ,SB900,SB600,SB28 and Hanimex PZ 4200.

If I were to choose all of these one camera one lens ,it would be Nikon D300s with nikon 35mm.( sb900)

Having the latest kit is always nice but it does not make you a better photographer.
,(I have some stunning shots on my D200 ,which is a 2005 design ,what matters is the lenses you choose)
D300s ( 51focus points and a 35mm f1.8lens) takes some beating.
The F100 is awesome I do my own developing in black and white film.(Ilford 3 developer)
Panasonic Tz 10 is a great compact.

Software Apple aperture and photoshop
Ilford chemicals ,darkroom.

Always learning,

Especially into lighting in photographs and how it transforms a particular image with shadows ,front,side and backlight,colours filters,background and subject.

Learn from other photographers famous or not.
