Non voglio descrivere la drammaticità della condizione umana e neppure i momenti felici e le cose belle della vita, perché mi incutono tristezza. Invece, cerco ciò che è nascosto e spesso inafferrabile ed intangibile ma sempre presente intorno a noi. Cerco di tradurre in immagini le domande, curiosità e introspezioni che le persone, le situazioni e le cose suscitano in me.

Io non sono un fotografo e non mi piace essere definito come tale; fotografo è il professionista, mentre a me piace essere un semplice osservatore sensibile e non amo il troppo coinvolgimento con i soggetti o le situazioni, almeno fino ad adesso. Uso principalmente film perché mi costringe a pensare di più e mi consente di andare più a fondo. Sviluppo e stampo in casa e spesso scannerizzo direttamente i negativi, per problemi di tempo e spazio.

I will not describe the drama of the human condition and even the good times and the good things of life, because they inspire sadness in me. Instead, I seek what is hidden and often elusive and intangible but always present around us. I try to translate to images the questions, curiosities and introspection that people, situations and things arouse in me.

I am not a photographer and I don't like to be defined as one; the pro is a photographer. I like to be a simple sensitive observer and I prefer not to get involved too much, at least for now. I use mainly 35mm film because it forces me to think more and allows me to go deeper. I develop and print at home but I often scan my negatives due to lack of time and space.
