I'm primarily an aviation (commercial and military) and rail photographer, though I'll range out to other subjects as the mood suits me or opportunities come around. My profession allows me to wander freely throughout the Houston area and I try to keep my rig handy for any photo ops that present themselves. I'm very much an amateur and have no desire to make photography an income source. I shoot for myself and my friends' enjoyment, as well as those with similar interests, rather than for databases. I'm a lifelong Houstonian (SW side and Sugar Land) and am into history, especially when it comes to Houston and railroads in the Houston area. Nothing sounds better to me than the roar of a jet, the growl of a radial or the grumble of diesels straining to move 100 cars down the line.
