I am a native Dallasite. My father was a portrait photographer in Dallas. I modeled for my father earlier than I can remember and continued it during college.

I knew early in my life that I would not make a big mark on the world, but would make a bunch of little ones.

I didn't become a professional photographer like my father. He was always taking pictures while I was growing up, and I suppose I learned from his example that documenting life through photography is important.

I'm that guy who is always taking the pictures.

I lost all my negatives and enlargements awhile back when I was out of town. My apartment flooded. In despair I gave up photography for a month, but that didn't last. I'm just hardwired into taking pictures.

I don't know when or how I found Flickr, but I can spend hours here.

I hope you enjoy my pictures. I DON'T use Photoshop and I DON'T use my phone to take pictures. iPhoto has a very limited editor for cropping, straightening, saturation, definition, and retouching - so you're getting the real deal here - no filters, no gauzy Doris Day faces.
