In high school I virtually lived in the darkroom, doing mostly B&W on Tri-X. I had wanted to study photojournalism but ended up in engineering school, which eventually allowed me to travel the US and the world with my camera. In recent years I've been taking my photography much more seriously, and actually leapt forward into the digital age. All the work I've been exhibiting is digital, but I'm also working on scanning my film and hope to present some of that as well.
Where ever I go I'm usually able to find something worthy to take a photo of. While travelling I've accumulated lots of photos in various airports and out airplane windows, but I have the most fun just grabbing the GPS and heading out into the countryside not sure where or what I'll find. Sometimes it's just a nice drive, but there are times when I come across a scene that just pulls me in and I get lost in that moment.

Please have the courtesy of asking before using my images. Individual photos presented here are a "best pic" chosen according to my tastes. If you find a particular photo interesting, but would like to see variations please don't hesitate to ask.
If you would like to buy a photo for commercial use, I am amenable to that as well. Most photos here are cropped, noise reduced, curved, sharpened, and some are B&W. Unprocessed/unwatermarked TIF's exported directly from the original raw file can be made available.
