Una fotografìa: la vista se puede coger con las manos.

Muchas veces me pregunto què es para mì la fotografìa. Un recuerdo, un alivio, una casualidad, una necesidad, un pasatiempo… No sé, quizas todo o nada, o solamente un encuentro. Un encuentro con los lugares que me rodean, con la gente con la que me cruzo, con la luz y los colores del dìa…

Algunos fotògrafos sienten, piensan y crean. Otros salen, buscan y encuentran. Algunos fotògrafos no necesitan moverse de su casa o de su estudio. Otros se pasan las horas recorriendo ciudades y carreteras con la càmara al hombro. Algunos, màs emociones, màs ideas. Otros, màs descubrimientos, màs momentos decisivos.
Yo, soy màs de los otros.

Mi estilo: ¿lo habrè ya encontrado? Si es asì, por favor, que alguien lo defina.

Flickr es uno de los màximos exponentes de la revoluciòn digital en el mundo de la fotografìa: democratizaciòn fotogràfica y/o sobredosis visual. Tantos talentos y tanta creatividad (tantìsima), pero tambièn tanta saturaciòn y tanta fugacidad (tantìsima). No olvidemos que las fotografìas son para mirarlas, analizarlas, verlas, pensarlas, observarlas, sentirlas, “guardarlas”… ¡No dejemos que el siglo XXI devalue la fotografìa!

A photography: the sight can be taken with the hands.

Many times I ask to me what is photography for me. A memory, a relief, a coincidence, a necessity, a hobby… I don’t know, maybe all or nothing, or just an encounter. An encounter with the places that surround me, with the people that I cross me, with the light and the colors of each day…

Some photographers feel, think and create. Other leave, seek and find. Some photographers don’t need to move from their houses or their studies. Other spend the time moving through cities and roads with the camara hanging of the shoulder. Some, more emotions, more ideas. Other, more discoveries, more “decisive moments”. I’m closer to the other.

Once a friend calls me “the moment collector”. I like this definition.

My style: Will I already have found it? If so, please, can anyone make a definig for me?

Flickr is one of the main exponents of the digital revolution in photography: everyone can aspire to be a photographer and / or overdose visual. So many talents and so much creativity, but also so much quantity and so much elusiveness. We musn’t forget that a photography is to looking at it, to analyzing it, to seeing it, to thinking it, to observing it, to feeling it, to keeping it… ¡Don’t we let that the 21st century devalues photography!
