grace tuttle says:
"Ann Marie's work is exactly what I love about nature. It is all-encompassing, the root of all things, and no one quite understands that like her, I believe. I hope one day I can see all her other work.
I cant thank her enough, for her valued comments, her beautiful words, and the idea that my work affects her spirit, that is something to behold. I am eternally grateful to her for supporting my photography.

"Ann Marie's not only a great photographer but also one of the most friendly and supportive flickr members you could ever meet. In a world full of big, bright and dramatic images, Ann Marie offers something honest, subtle and most of all, charm.
No other photos have kept me staring longer, trying to unravel the secret that keeps me captivated, what it is that burns the image in my mind. I could describe several of her images from memory, one of children playing by a waterfall that's perhaps one of my all time favorite images, and one that cannot easily be remarked upon by words. A big inspriration."27th June, 2009

"You can really feel the joy with which Ann captures the world through her camera. There's a playful and exploratory sense in all her images that is refreshing and beautiful. I also greatly appreciate Ann's way with words and her generosity when commenting on my work and that of others. She seems to truly enjoy all aspects of photography. She has a strong vision of her own and she's also able to appreciate the vision of others. I'm glad to know her and her work here on flickr."

Che-burashka says:
"I think Ann Marie is absolutely unique artist. In our modern times of constant rush, neon lights and noise she manages to depict stillness and solitude with incredible power. Each detail on her image talks a lot. It make me think of eternity and how fleeting our lives are in this universe. Her work is the thing i came back after difficult day. I just sit and watch and feel rekindled. Also i think the person who is catching such beauty has got incredible soul. And i am very grateful that i met her here and have a privilege to enjoy her company. Please check this stream out and discover this world for yourself."

SonOfJordan says:
"If you could capture your dreams on film, the clear or blurry ones alike, then this is what they would look like: Ann Marie Simard's Photography.
Ann Marie was one of the first people I've had the pleasure of interacting with on Flickr, and although not a film user myself, I'm always being inspired by her wonderful dreamy captures of the world- through her eyes & her camera, even to the point of flagrant imitation on my part to try and capture at least some of that dreamy magic, but I'm still trying, and still learning!
Keep us inspired An Marie, and above all, keep us dreaming! ;)"13th February, 2009

Holden Richards says:
"Ann-Marie has a vision of the world that is expressed in the purely expressive mode of the camera as a vehicle for simultaineous gesture of body - mind - spirit. All these merged to one in the precise alchemical combinations."

Bad, Bad Lechroy Brown says:
"Ann-Marie embraces a quality of light that few photographers see. She brings forward discrete elements of life, the natural world, and how we as humans interact with it. With her wonderful eye for solitude and serenity, she provides a Tour De Force of her home stomping ground in Canada."
