I'm addicted to photography and use my camera almost every day. Nature is my favourite subject and 99% of the time I prefer not to edit my photos... what you see on the screen is what I saw with my eyes. I occasionally add a vignette but try to keep it discreet!
Joining Flickr has been a very inspiring experience. It makes me realise that I have a lot to learn!!

"What I admire in Anne the most is her keen eye for composition. She uses natural framing (trees are her favorite) to highlight the focus of her photography. There is warmth and compassion emanating from her pictures. She is kind and caring.

"I have known and corresponded with Anne for many years. I always knew that photography was a hobby that she really loved. Yet it was not until she introduced me to Flickr in September 2008, when my attempt as a photographer started, that I had an insight to her ability as a photographer and I realised how good she was with this hobby.
From the start she was an inspiration to me in more than one way. The quality of her work opened my eyes to see things that I have never looked at before. Her encouragement was such that I was inspired to improve, to submit pictures of which she would be proud of. Her opinion of my photos was and still is a trusted barometer.
Anne shrives on landscape photos. She has an exceptional ability to see the photographic potential in scenes that will be passed unnoticed by many photographers and I am not talking about people like me.
Yet the most important part in her photographic excellence is her personality. The love that is portrayed in her work, especially her total honesty in her photos and her reaction to the work of others, make me grateful that I can call her a friend.
I am sure that I am not the only one that feels that way. I am sure that there are many others who share my opinion and who have experienced her kindness, honesty and loyalty.

"I'm so glad my good Flickr friend Pixellie pointed me to Anne's stream months ago. She was already a fantastic talent when I arrived at her doorstep, and she's only gotten better since then. Anne's got a phenomenal creative knack for finding THE shot and snapping it. A true artist, she sets up the compositions of her images like a master. Were I cataloging my contacts' images, I would put a great number of Anne's in the "achingly beautiful" category, without a doubt.
Beyond the photography, Anne is truly a friend, supportive, loyal, and always making sure to comment on all of her friends' photos. And it's never just a passing remark; Anne puts so much thought into her words and comments. She gives constructive criticism each time.
