"I put off writing this testimonial for a while now, mainly for two reasons: I didn't want to seem creeperish and write a testimonial the minute she added me as a contact, but more importantly, I wanted to come up with the right words to describe her photography. Because Anna is just amazing.

I've long been a fan of Anna's work--since I first joined Flickr, which means when I first started photography. I'm always in awe when I look at her pictures. They have this quality about them that make you go "wow, how does she do that?" She is able to capture emotion and feeling in a way I've never seen before, and I feel as if I can step right into her photos sometimes. Look at one of her golden hour shots and you can feel the sun shining through your computer screen and onto your face; look at a photo in the windy winter weather and you can feel the cold breeze blowing through; look at one of her rain photos and you feel the rain striking you, and you feel the emotion Anna expresses.

Okay, this is becoming longer than I had expected (and I could still go on for much longer), but basically, her photos are pure and genuine and real and just as technically/photographically beautiful as they are emotionally and evocatively so. When I look through her photostream, I realize--this is why I love photography so much.

I know you have like, 150 testimonials already, so it won't mean much when I say this, but Anna, you are truly a fantastic, greatly inspirational photographer. (And you're from NJ too, so wooooo)"

"even just for once in visiting anna's stream, try and look from her first post to her latest, and you'd witness something like a movie. there's a slow start but then you have this tingling feeling that you're up to something greater and larger than yourself. then there comes all these climax parts where everything is bountiful in emotions and, of course, bokeh and lights. well, we're still here on the climax, and I don't think I'd want to see the ending, not just yet.

So, back in like early July, I saw one of your photos and I was like ooh. That's pretty. I like that. And then I went along my merry little way la-di-da-di-da and forgot about you. Then in August sometime I found your stream again and pretty much cursed myself for not adding you as a contact sooner.
You and light are amazing. Amazing. Seriously, I don't know how you do it. And you really are one of my biggest inspirations.
