I'm a wife, a mother, a student, a pet lover, an environmentalist, and a liberal. I'm quiet. I don't speak up nearly as often as I should, or as much as I want to. I have dreams and illusions of grandeur. I have a mad desire to be as cynical and witty as Janeane Garofalo. I spend most of my time listening to music while reading LJ, or whatever book has captured my attention for the week.

Added 9/17/08: Up until recently, I took all my pictures with a point-and-shoot camera, and never gave it a second thought. I've just made the switch to my first digital SLR camera (Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT), and I'm trying to learn more about photographing something that's a little better than an average snapshot. It's a work in progress, that's for sure.
