  Anke, the person, is the essence of caring. Her thoughtfulness knows no bounds and her caring is beyond measure. She's always there with an encouragement, a pat on the back and a word of advice. Full of life and joy, she exudes such a positive vibe and energy that it is literally contagious. She is a warm and kind soul whose friendship, when given, is so tangible and solid that you physically feel its presence and sustenance, pushing you forward and helping you along.   Anke the artist is inspirational. There are many many photographers who can reproduce what is in front of their lenses and who excel at it technically. Very few, however, add their own value into the equation. With Anke's work, you feel, and see, that she puts a bit of herself into each of her images. It is as if part of that wonderful soul of hers touches her images and transforms them from mere reproductions of what is there into works of art. I look forward to her posts with a lot of anticipation, and many of her images made me get up and grab my camera.
