Anita was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is an upcoming singer who has taken a stride with her first solo album 'Chondraloke'. Anita took up singing at a very young age and is a proficient classical singer. She also enjoys singing other genres of music including Pop, Latin, RnB, Melo Rock, Hip Hop. She is also a composer and lyricist of her own songs. Anita is a medical graduate. In her spare time she enjoys watching cricket, movies and photography.

Anita joined Pentagon as vocalist in October 2009 . Her first show with the band was Glitter Ball 2009.
