Baby BOOMER who loves to bird and take photos...not the USUAL perfect, ideal photos...very ARTSY ones. I have always been a "rebel" of sorts and just can't "play by the rules". I have a "ragged" style and like it. Don't know where it will "land" as it is slowly emerging. My right brain has been dormant for much TOO long! It wants to come out and PLAY!!! For once in my life I am going to let it!!! Hope we ALL will be entertained by it as "I" have NO IDEA what it is up to??? Should be FUN!!!

I use a technique called digiscoping. I use a "top line" LEICA spotting scope with a bitty little Point n Shoot! I am very addicted to this method. Not as versatile in movement as a regular camera, yet, it can shoot from very, very far away and come out top notch. It can also shoot areas hard for others to get to. When it is GOOD, it is very, very GOOD! When it is BAD, I cry!!! Jut like LIFE!!

Hope you enjoy my site...I love showing birds in unusual posturing that you would not normally see. I also love sharing their BEAUTY and their SPIRIT. To do this makes me feel complete as an artist.

OK...Yes, I still digiscope and LOVE it. I also find it is a really good medium for graphic/digital work. I wouldn't be able to turn out any ARTSY image without my trusty LEICA and COOLPIX/LEICA cameras. I changed my screen name from Digiscoping by Angie to ART-scoping by Angie. Seems to fit how I see myself right now. ;)

    Brian McCombe says:

"I'm a newcomer to digiscoping, i began back in March 2010.
If you read Angie's introduction to her "attitude to digiscoping".
You will see how it merges into her photostream
The images are always free from convention and i love them.
Angie, spiritually,we are on the "same page".
I pray that one day i will be able to capture images as beautiful as yours.
Very best wishes from an exiled Scot living in France.
    Brian McCombe."

    ~Chuckles~! " Intermittently Flickrin " says:

"I keep coming back to Angies perfect bird photos, and each time I return I am more amazed than the last time! Her Digiscoping setup is the only way to go for Superb Closeups and she keeps at it until she gets them just right! If this is the first visit you have made to her photostream stick around, and just have a look at her portfolio of Birds in the Wilds of Mother Nature!
She is just about the nicest person to have as a contact if you aren't trying to out do her that is! No One Can! She Is A Flickr Original! One Of A Kind!"
