Hmm..let's see. I'm really into Japanese culture and love to view pictures people have taken in Japan. I also like wine tasting, crafts, writing, poetry, and a bunch of other stuff. I love music!!

I work in accounting and take classes which makes it hard to find time for other things, although I'm a notorious procrastinator, so I usually do find time. I study Japanese and Korean in my spare time.

AMATEUR at photography. I've always been interested in photography, but haven't taken any courses and I just have a regular digital camera that I like to take pics with.

I HATE photo snobs or people who offer TOO much of "their opinion" on my view/photo (if I didn't put it in a "rank"/"critique" group). It is taken and posted that way for a reason. Photography is a form of expression...

I joined the site to view pictures mainly, but I take a few basic photos here and there. I have also now joined the smart phone movement so will have mobile uploads as well. This is mainly to document everyday life...not so showcase the latest photo techniques...

In January 2011, my sister and I rescued a cute 2 yr old black and white Lhasa Apso from our local shelter. The shelter was a sad place to visit with sad cute animals waiting for homes. Please visit your local shelter if you have room in your home and heart for a new friend and family member. Save a life, adopt a shelter pet. Don't shop, adopt! Spay and neuter! --
