A new generation of Metal/Hard Rock has arrived and it goes by the name of A New Definition, an incredibly apt name if there ever was one. A New Definition is composed of drummer Andy Dobbs Dobmeyer, vocalist/bassist Jed Jedpac Francis, lead guitarist Brian Shaff Shaffer and rhythm guitarist Matt Werm Wermert who came together in February of 2005 in Coldwater, OH. AND released its debut EP, The Taste, in 2006 before adding Werm to the lineup. "Our songs have many different feelings and beliefs," says Jedpac of the diversity of their lyrical content. "They question what happens beyond this life. They tell how we like to party, to live. In some songs, you can tell we are just venting and getting out all of our frustrations and, in others, you can tell we just want to have fun." A New Definition will be heading to the studio soon to record their second album.
