Andy Carroll edits books and operates a camera. He figured out how to take pictures in the 1980s and 90s, and in 2006 he started calling them “photographs.” He denies that this is pretentious.
Many of Andy’s photographs explore his environment, documenting and communicating his vision of the world. The others are just pretty pictures. He is not sure which are which.

I appreciate comments on my photos, but comments are words, one after the other. Icons, especially flashy, blinky, animated ones are really annoying -- I delete them.
I am very likely to take at least a quick look at the stream of anyone who faves or comments on my photos.
