My love of photography started when I bought a Minolta dynax 3000 back in the 80's, for my first overseas trip to Thailand. I knew nothing about photography but loved trying to get a nice shot.

My next trip was to Nepal, and by far my favorite trip I have every taken, what a magnificent place for photography. I took a whooping 17 rolls of film while I was there, funny now I wouldn't even hesitate to take that many shots in a hour. It has been 20 years but still can't wait to go back.



I came back from Nepal, and decided I wanted to be an raft guide, which also led to sea kayak guiding and leading ski tours. What a great lifestyle, this job took me to Canada, the US, New Zealand, Europe and remote parts of Australia, often by helicopter. I got to travel the world doing a fantastic job. It was also the time my camera died and I couldn't afford to replace it with another SLR, so I bought a Pentax 90WR, which did a great job. I took it while I was rafting, sea kayaking, snow skiing






My first job as a teenager was a swim coach, after I finished outdoor guiding I went back to coaching, which I still do now. I am married to a women who is just as interested as I am in living and exploring different countries, right now we live in the Philippines, prior to here we lived in Thailand and enjoyed travelling to China, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos and Cambodia, all great places for photography.
