I'm an amateur photographer from Northwest Arkansas. Vacations with my beautiful wife are the source of most of my time spent taking pictures. We enjoy hiking and most recently backpacking (see my Grand Canyon Vacation 2008 collection ). We also spend a lot of time hiking around the Ozarks.

I've been taking pictures since 1996 when I was 14 and picked up my dad's Minolta SRT-101. The digital 'revolution' hadn't happened yet so I still mostly use film. Here's my gear:

The Bronica is a recent addition. I've always wanted to step up to medium format so I jumped at the chance to borrow the 6x6 Bronica from a professional photographer friend. He hasn't used it much since going digital years ago. Its manual nature and solid build remind me of the old Minolta I started out on.

Another recent addition is a Nikon Coolscan 8000 film scanner.
