When all's said and done, I love 2 things. First comes my family and secondly, photography.

As far as photography goes, I prefer shooting landscapes but don't limit myself to just that (as my photo-stream displays). The main thing about photography for me is getting out there and seeing what there is. In fact, it's sometimes not about getting the "best" shot, but rather trying to capture a feeling....easier said than done ;-)

I think the actual output of the photographs is the lessor part of the joy I get from photography. The lion's share of my enjoyment comes from seeing new places/things or seeing the same old things in a new way. It doesn't always translate to a winning image, but it always ends up being a rewarding experience.

In the end, I hope you enjoy looking at the images I've posted.
